Role Overview

We are seeking a proactive and experienced Apartment Property Manager with strong leadership capabilities, operational expertise, and financial insight. The role requires managing day-to-day activities of a conventional apartment community while providing excellent resident relations and team supervision.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the daily management of a conventional apartment community.
• Lead, mentor, and develop onsite staff through coaching, training, and performance evaluations.
• Deliver detailed reports on financial status, occupancy rates, leasing metrics, and other key performance indicators.
• Manage rent collection processes, handle delinquency cases, and control operating expenses effectively.
• Address and resolve resident complaints, disturbances, and policy breaches with professionalism.
• Implement robust sales and marketing tactics to boost leasing performance.
• Perform routine property inspections including walkthroughs of vacated units and community areas.
• Ensure all documentation is accurate and compliant with company policies, maintaining organizational excellence.
• Maintain outstanding customer service and uphold community standards consistently.

Qualifications & Requirements

• At least two years of previous experience as an Apartment Manager, including supervisory responsibilities.
• A consistent and stable employment record.
• Demonstrated ability to lead, coach, and manage team performance efficiently.
• Proven skills in sales, marketing, and delivering excellent customer service.
• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience managing conventional apartment communities with 200 or more units.
• Bilingual English/Spanish skills are advantageous but not mandatory.
• Possession of a valid driver's license and dependable transportation.
• Candidates must reside within 20 miles of the property or be willing to relocate.

Compensation & Benefits

• Competitive salary ranging from $55,000 to $60,000 per year.
