Role Overview
We are looking for a meticulous and results-focused Amazon Content & Catalog Manager to oversee the creation, optimization, and management of high-impact product listings across Amazon marketplaces. This role demands expertise in developing top-quality product detail pages that enhance visibility, increase conversion rates, and drive sales. The successful candidate will leverage copywriting talents, keyword research skills, and deep understanding of Amazon's ecosystem to continuously elevate listing quality and customer engagement.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and launch new Amazon product listings compliant with Amazon's content policies and category standards.
- Create engaging product titles, bullet points, descriptions, A+ content, and backend keywords.
- Conduct thorough keyword research and competitive benchmarking to identify valuable search terms.
- Highlight distinct product features, customer benefits, and conversion triggers for superior listings.
- Advise on product images, infographics, and content strategies to enrich detail pages.
- Craft persuasive, customer-centered copy that clearly presents product features and unique selling points.
- Maintain consistency with brand voice while enhancing search engine visibility and conversion success.
- Work closely with marketing, product development, and creative teams on impactful content and messaging.
- Ensure all listing content is accurate, compelling, and optimized for Amazon SEO and user experience.
- Manage and update existing Amazon listings to maintain accuracy and address content compliance.
- Monitor listings for health, suppressions, and policy adherence, taking corrective measures when necessary.
- Regularly audit product pages for performance improvements and optimizations.
- Adjust listings in response to product updates, customer feedback, market changes, and Amazon policies.
- Analyze listing metrics including traffic, conversions, keyword rankings, and sales performance.
- Perform competitor and category analyses to discover content gaps and optimize listings.
- Strategize and implement improvements to boost organic visibility and conversion rates.
- Experiment with and fine-tune listing components to enhance performance and engagement.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years' experience managing Amazon apparel listings, catalog content, or e-commerce product content.
- Proficient knowledge of Amazon SEO, keyword research, and product listing best practices.
- Strong copywriting and content creation capabilities.
- Familiarity with Amazon Seller Central and/or Vendor Central platforms.
- Analytical skills to interpret data and scope optimization opportunities effectively.
- Exceptional attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects.
