AI Engineer

Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled AI Engineer to design, develop, and implement AI-driven applications utilizing Large Language Models (LLMs). This role involves building AI agents, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) pipelines, and automations to address complex business challenges. The position requires integration of LLMs with internal systems, APIs, databases, and third-party services, alongside creating scalable backend services and user-friendly frontends using up-to-date web frameworks.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy AI-powered applications using Large Language Models (LLMs).
• Create AI agents, RAG pipelines, and automate workflows to resolve practical business issues.
• Integrate LLM solutions with internal systems, APIs, databases, and external third-party platforms.
• Develop scalable backend services and APIs to support AI-based applications.
• Build intuitive frontend interfaces leveraging modern web development frameworks.
• Optimize prompts, assess model outputs, and enhance the quality of AI responses.
• Work collaboratively with product, design, and engineering teams to quickly implement new features.
• Keep abreast of the latest trends and advancements in AI models, frameworks, and development tools.

Candidate Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a closely related discipline.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in software engineering roles.
• Proficient programming skills in Python or TypeScript.
• Experience working with contemporary frontend frameworks such as React or Next.js.
• Skilled in backend development using Node.js, Python frameworks like FastAPI, or equivalents.
• Practical experience using LLM APIs (e.g., OpenAI, Anthropic, Gemini) is essential.
• Familiarity with prompt engineering, AI agents, function calling, multi-chain processing (MCP), RAG systems, vector databases, or orchestration tools such as LangChain, LangGraph, or LlamaIndex.
• Experience working with REST APIs, SQL/NoSQL databases, version control using Git, containerization with Docker, and cloud computing platforms.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills suited to a dynamic startup environment.
