Job Overview
The Administration and Planning Specialist position focuses on ensuring the correctness and accuracy of all procedures, processes, and reports within the planning and administration functions to maximize operational efficiency. The successful candidate will be a capable, motivated individual committed to safety and teamwork, delivering exceptional results in planning, administration, and remanufacturing operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Establish and implement efficient procedures within the planning and administration department.
- Gather and document all Customer Specific Information (CSI) related to remanufacturing and component rebuilding to maintain traceability.
- Manage the calibration process for all necessary tooling, ensuring timely dispatch and return along with correct documentation.
- Forecast component stock requirements for remanufacturing and develop production plans accordingly.
- Lead weekly coordination meetings between planning and production to tackle technical, operational, and planning matters, reporting outcomes to the Reman Manager.
- Prepare and provide weekly and monthly performance reports on remanufacturing activities, including:
- Comparison of actual versus budgeted manufacturing outputs.
- Monitoring productive versus non-productive labor hours.
- Identifying inventory shortages and analyzing their root causes.
- Tracking work-in-progress levels and component volumes.
- Evaluating lifetime versus new component ratio and minimum KPI versus actual performance.
- Drive strategic efficiency improvements and automation efforts within the Planning department.
- Oversee archiving of completed quality documents to ensure component traceability and accountability.
- Administer planning-related master data within the ERP system, including item parameters, bills of material, routings, work centers, and subcontractor information.
- Ensure all activities align with company and legislative health and safety standards.
- Monitor supplier and subcontractor performance KPIs according to agreements.
- Support robust Quality Management System implementation within ERP.
- Contribute actively to the development of processes, procedures, and documentation in the ERP environment.
- Ensure adherence to policies, procedures, and ERP documentation compliance.
- Assist with Liebherr Reman Certification Assessment efforts related to planning and administration.
Qualifications and Experience
- University degree in Production Management or Operations Management.
- Minimum of 5 years’ post-qualification experience, specifically in a remanufacturing facility.
