Role Overview

We are seeking a full-time Accountant based in Singapore to manage daily financial operations. The position involves maintaining the general ledger, entering journal entries, and reconciling bank and client accounts accurately. Additional responsibilities include preparing detailed financial statements and reports for management, aiding in budgeting and financial forecasting, and ensuring prompt closure of monthly and yearly accounts.

The role also entails overseeing accounts payable and receivable, monitoring cash flow activities, supporting taxation computations, and ensuring compliance through statutory filings aligned with local regulatory standards. Collaboration with internal departments and auditors, alongside improving finance workflows and safeguarding robust internal controls, are key components of this role.

Qualifications and Skills

• Strong expertise in accounting and financial reporting, including ledger management and statement preparation.
• Capability in budgeting, forecasting, and performing financial analyses to aid managerial decisions.
• Familiarity with Singapore’s financial regulations and tax compliance pertinent to fund management.
• Experience with accounting software and advanced Excel functions; knowledge of ERP or financial service systems is preferred.
• Keen attention to detail, excellent organization, and the capacity to manage multiple deadlines effectively.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate across teams and liaise with external auditors.
• Relevant academic qualifications in Accounting or Finance; professional certifications such as CPA or CA are advantageous.
• Background experience in asset management, fund administration, banking, or financial sectors is beneficial.
