Overview
The Account Coordinator is a vital support role working closely with the Senior Account Manager and broader team to oversee daily business functions, client partnerships, and contractor management. This position serves as the main communication bridge linking clients, contractors, and internal departments to guarantee efficient recruitment operations, precise information flow, and superior client service. Additionally, the role plays a key part in fostering business growth by nurturing sustainable client relations and aiding in continuous improvement efforts.
Key Duties
- Assist the Senior Account Manager and team with everyday client and contractor engagement activities.
- Communicate with client HR and Contracts units to organize recruitment tasks such as new job requisitions, interview scheduling, negotiation proceedings, and mobilization or demobilization logistics.
- Obtain necessary approvals for travel arrangements including flights and hotel accommodations.
- Relay updates from client HR/Contracts teams to contractors, ensuring they confirm and agree to details.
- Handle approval processes for irregular payments, billing, and expense claims beyond existing contracts.
- Establish and preserve long-standing relationships with clients and contractors.
- Spot and pursue opportunities to grow business within current accounts.
- Support performance against Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and uphold high standards of client relationship management.
- Build strong rapport with principal account stakeholders.
- Collaborate with the Finance department to help monitor and minimize outstanding debts (TDO).
- Ensure comprehensive logging of information in CRM tools to aid tracking and reporting.
- Take responsibility for business continuity and engage in initiatives for process enhancement.
- Maintain precise documentation and communication records related to client and contractor operations.
- Deliver assistance on special tasks or assigned projects aimed at boosting client satisfaction and improving internal workflows.
Qualifications and Skills
- Possess a Diploma or Degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or similar disciplines.
- Bring 1 to 2 years of experience in client servicing, recruitment coordination, or account support roles.
- Awareness of recruitment protocols, contractor oversight, or HR activities is beneficial.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, alongside database management.
- Demonstrate strong organizational abilities to juggle multiple responsibilities efficiently in a fast-moving environment.
- Mandarin language skills, both spoken and written, are essential due to interactions with Chinese-speaking clients and partners.
- Must hold a valid Class 3 driver's license to facilitate client visits and relevant business travel.
- Preparedness and comfort with frequent travel to client locations and operational yards situated in Jurong and Tuas regions are expected.
