Role Overview
The Academic Coordinator position entails full-time responsibility for managing academic planning, implementing curriculum, and supervising classroom instruction at Bhashyam Public School. Based primarily on campus in Guntur, there is some allowance for remote work when suitable. Key duties involve aligning lesson plans with teaching staff, ensuring assessments and learning objectives match school standards, and tracking academic performance data to aid student progress.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate academic lesson plans with faculty members.
- Ensure assessments and educational outcomes align with institutional standards.
- Monitor and analyze student academic performance data to support progress.
- Organize academic timetables and schedules collaboratively with teachers.
- Conduct classroom observations and give instructional guidance.
- Support students and families through academic advising and provision of educational resources.
- Participate actively in staff meetings, training, and school-wide academic initiatives.
Qualifications and Skills
- Proficiency in education and curriculum development to create and improve academic programs and lesson plans.
- Effective communication skills for collaboration with educators, students, and families and clear presentation of academic information.
- Academic advising competencies to guide student learning pathways, track their progress, and suggest interventions.
- Research aptitude for analyzing academic data, staying informed on modern educational best practices, and guiding curriculum and policy decisions.
- Preferred experience in school coordination or teaching roles and familiarity with hybrid teaching models.
- Strong organizational and time-management capabilities.
- Competence in basic educational technologies and general office software.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Education or a related discipline, with a commitment to inclusive, learner-centered education.
