Role Overview
We are seeking a Workforce Planner to join our Mascot campus team in a full-time, permanent position. This role is pivotal in a significant workforce transformation initiative focused on enhancing rostering systems for ground staff in airport operations. The successful candidate will configure new workforce planning tools, coach operational teams, and facilitate system implementation across diverse locations.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify opportunities to improve critical business outcomes through effective workforce planning.
- Lead impactful change initiatives by utilizing expertise in advanced workforce planning systems to optimize rostering.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and autonomously develop innovative, sustainable solutions tailored to workforce planning.
Required Experience and Skills
- Proficient understanding and practical application of complex workforce planning tools and methodologies.
- Familiarity with rostering platforms such as WorkforcePlus and GroundStar Rostering is highly preferred.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Power BI, or other business intelligence reporting tools.
- Proven track record in enhancing roster efficiency and utilization within complex organizational settings.
- Experience or knowledge in change management, process redesign, and continuous improvement initiatives is advantageous.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with ability to influence stakeholders at all organizational levels.
- A background in aviation operations is ideal, though operational experience in other fields will also be considered.
- Knowledge or skills related to AI technologies are viewed favorably.
