Join Brunswick, a global leader in the marine industry, as a Woodworker at Sea Ray Boats located in Vonore, TN. As a Woodworker (Grade 3), you will be instrumental in constructing cabinetry and various wood components integral to our boats.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out diverse woodworking and rough carpentry tasks on both small and large boat projects.
• Utilize staple guns to assemble wooden frameworks intended to be covered with materials such as fiberglass or upholstery.
• Engage in mill assembly and lamination woodworking duties as assigned.
• Embrace opportunities to expand your skills across all woodshop areas, including CNC router operation, cabinet fabrication, and assembly processes.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Minimum education of a High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• Proven experience in fundamental carpentry or rough woodworking.
• Ability to interpret production schedules and blueprint documentation.
• Capable of working in hot, dusty conditions, using protective gear and respirators as needed.
• Proficiency with various hand and power tools.
• Awareness of hazardous chemical handling and disposal protocols.
• Familiarity with quality system documentation, procedures, and instructions.

Working Conditions and Safety

• Commitment to safe work practices and immediate reporting of potential hazards.
• Understanding of regulatory terms such as OSHA and DEP.
• Mandatory use of personal protective equipment including eye and hearing protection, gloves, etc.
• Physical ability to lift, bend, climb stairs, and stand as required, with reasonable accommodation if necessary.

Compensation and Benefits

The hourly wage range for this position is between $20.50 and $23.18, impacted by factors such as experience and skill set. Opportunities include eligibility for annual discretionary bonuses, short-term incentives, and long-term incentive awards.
