About the Role

Meta is hiring a Wellness Response Partner to support the Psychological Health, Strategy, and Response team by providing critical assistance to employees experiencing serious mental health challenges globally. This position requires expertise in assessing complex mental health risks, crisis intervention, and collaborating across a fast-paced, growing organization to deliver effective wellness solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Swiftly respond to and lead resolution efforts for reported wellness incidents with empathy and precision, ensuring individuals affected receive appropriate resources.
  • Manage intake, triage, and coordination of cross-departmental resources to handle wellness cases efficiently.
  • Participate in rotational on-call duty including weekends and holidays to guarantee continuous wellness support year-round.
  • Contribute to designing and implementing scalable strategic wellness plans, focusing on organizational growth and change management.
  • Provide guidance and thought partnership to all organization levels by analyzing trends, recommending solutions, and collaborating to implement improvements.
  • Balance employee well-being with organizational risk and business considerations.
  • Develop and facilitate training programs for managers and partners based on data insights and business needs.
  • Collaborate with HR, Legal, Investigations, Learning & Development, Security, and other key stakeholders to scale wellness initiatives.
  • Coordinate with regional and global teams to triage cases and execute appropriate interventions.
  • Influence strategic priorities, ensuring alignment of communication, resources, and milestone delivery across all stakeholders.
  • Join and lead HR community projects, influencing organizational practices.
  • Foster productive working relationships and promote internal community building, supporting colleagues and onboarding new team members.
  • Engage actively in the recruitment and onboarding process of new employees.

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum 12 years of postgraduate clinical experience in Psychology, Counseling, or Crisis Response.
  • Master's degree in psychology, behavioral health, mental health, or an equivalent field.
  • Appropriate licensure/registration with a state or government agency (e.g., Licensed Psychologist, LCSW, LPC).
  • Strong clinical abilities in crisis management, risk evaluation, psychopathology, and occupational health.
  • Experience supporting a global workforce and making informed risk assessments considering both personal and business factors.
  • Excellent communication, critical thinking, and empathy skills.
  • Proven experience in collaborative cross-team work, project management, and change management.
  • Capability to work independently with minimal supervision across various locations.
  • Track record of thriving in rapidly evolving environments and scaling global or matrix organizations.
  • Strong consulting, coaching, facilitation, and strategic problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Familiarity with ethical AI practices such as bias mitigation and risk assessment.
  • Doctorate in Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, or related behavioral science discipline.
  • Ongoing development and application of AI skills including prompt engineering and agent orchestration.
  • Experience integrating AI tools to enhance workflows, increase efficiency, and improve quality.

Compensation and Benefits

The role offers a base salary ranging from $174,000 to $247,000 per year plus bonus, equity, and comprehensive benefits. Actual compensation is based on qualifications, experience, and location.
