Role Overview and Duties

• Perform fabrication and repair tasks on diverse sizes of steel and plastic industrial bins and other related waste equipment.
• Cut, shape, join, and mend metal parts following specifications.
• Apply MIG welding techniques to bins according to provided blueprints and design plans.
• Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications to understand job demands.
• Operate various metal fabrication tools such as drills, presses, cutting machinery, hand tools, and measurement devices.
• Inspect completed welds and undertake finishing processes including smoothing, grinding, polishing, and chiselling materials as necessary.
• Collaborate within teams to manufacture, assemble, and repair waste management equipment.
• Support BINGO customers effectively while upholding high standards of customer service.

Qualifications and Experience

• Proven background in metal fabrication, boilermaking, or vehicle body building.
• Experience working with MIG welding in manufacturing settings.
• Skilled at reading and interpreting technical drawings and job specifications.
• Possess a valid driver's license and have reliable transportation.
• Willingness to be flexible with work hours, including Saturdays and possible overtime.
• Capable of diagnosing and resolving mechanical issues efficiently.
• Strong commitment to workplace safety and compliance.
