Role & Responsibilities
- Design, implement, test, and deploy integration solutions leveraging the webMethods Integration Server platform.
- Develop and maintain integration services, flows, adapters, and APIs.
- Create integrations using Trading Networks, Universal Messaging, My webMethods Server (MWS), and API Gateway.
- Manage configuration, deployment, and monitoring of webMethods packages.
- Develop interfaces compliant with SOAP, REST, XML, JSON, and EDI standards.
- Resolve integration-related issues and enhance system performance.
- Collaborate with business analysts, solution architects, and various teams for effective integration delivery.
- Support live production environments and manage incident resolution.
- Participate in code reviews to ensure compliance with integration standards and best practices.
- Produce technical documentation and deployment manuals.
Required Skills
- Comprehensive experience with the Software AG webMethods Suite.
- Hands-on skills with Integration Server (IS), Designer, Trading Networks (TN), Universal Messaging (UM), My webMethods Server (MWS), and API Gateway.
- Proficient in building SOAP and RESTful Web Services.
- Strong command over XML, XSD, JSON, WSDL, and XSLT.
- Understanding of messaging technologies and middleware architectures.
- Solid knowledge of SQL and database integration with Oracle, SQL Server, and MySQL.
- Familiarity with deployment and release management procedures.
- Excellent debugging and troubleshooting abilities.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in webMethods.io and cloud-based integration solutions.
- Familiarity with DevOps tools such as Jenkins, Git, and Azure DevOps.
- Knowledge of messaging platforms including Kafka and MQ Series.
- Insight into the API lifecycle management process.
- Agile and Scrum methodology experience.
