Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced WebLogic Administrator with a strong background in Java Enterprise Edition technologies and middleware support. This role requires installing, configuring, and managing Oracle WebLogic Server environments, including clusters, performance tuning, troubleshooting, security administration, and supporting application deployments.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain Oracle WebLogic Server instances and clustered environments.
- Plan and implement WebLogic Server upgrades and patches.
- Monitor system performance and fine-tune memory, threads, and connections pools for optimal operation.
- Diagnose and resolve server issues such as deployment errors, performance problems, and application faults.
- Configure security features like user authentication, authorization, and SSL/TLS within WebLogic domains.
- Deploy and manage Java applications using WebLogic scripting tools (WLST) and deployment utilities.
- Collaborate with development teams to ensure seamless application deployment and resolve related challenges.
- Document system configurations and updates thoroughly for maintenance and support.
- Participate in on-call rotations to support production environments on a timely basis.
- Keep updated with new WebLogic Server features and industry best practices.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a related discipline.
- At least 5 years of hands-on experience administering WebLogic Server environments.
- Solid understanding of Java EE components such as EJBs, Servlets, JSPs, and JMS.
- Proven experience in configuring and managing WebLogic Server clusters.
- Capable of performance tuning and resolving issues in WebLogic environments.
- Experience supporting middleware applications and their maintenance.
Eligibility
Applicants must have completed a B.Tech or B.E. degree in any specialization.
