Role Overview
The Warranty Administrator is responsible for managing the entire warranty claims cycle, including processing claims, confirming eligibility, maintaining comprehensive records, and securing prompt reimbursements from manufacturers or suppliers. This position demands meticulous organizational abilities, keen attention to detail, and strong communication skills.
Main Duties
- Precisely process and submit warranty claims within required timeframes.
- Confirm warranty coverage and ensure all claims adhere to manufacturer and company policies.
- Examine repair orders, invoices, and related documents for accuracy before claim submission.
- Engage effectively with customers, technicians, service advisors, and manufacturers to resolve warranty matters.
- Monitor warranty claim progress and proactively follow up on approvals and payments.
- Address and resolve any rejected or disputed claims promptly.
- Keep warranty records organized and up to date.
- Compile reports detailing warranty claims, reimbursements, and outstanding items.
- Analyze warranty claim trends to identify repetitive issues in products or services.
- Maintain adherence to both internal procedures and manufacturer warranty standards.
- Provide support during warranty audits and ensure confidentiality of all documentation.
