Warehouse & Logistics Assistant

About the Role

The Singapore Mint is looking for a diligent and dependable Warehouse & Logistics Assistant to bolster its warehouse operations, handle inventory management tasks, and coordinate logistics duties. The successful candidate will be involved in receiving, storing, picking, packing inventory, managing shipments, and ensuring the accuracy of records within warehouse and inventory management systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, and verify incoming goods against delivery documentation.
• Store inventory precisely following warehouse protocols.
• Pick, pack, and prepare products for dispatch and customer delivery.
• Assist with both inbound and outbound warehouse processes.
• Maintain proper labeling, storage, traceability, and organization of stock.
• Ensure workplace safety and cleanliness standards are consistently met.
• Accurately process inventory transactions within warehouse or ERP systems.
• Monitor stock levels and assist with replenishment activities.
• Maintain thorough documentation and record-keeping of inventory.
• Support periodic cycle counts, stocktaking, and inventory audits.
• Investigate and report any discrepancies found in inventory records.
• Coordinate delivery schedules, collections, and shipments effectively.
• Engage with logistics partners, transportation providers, and couriers for seamless operations.
• Prepare necessary delivery orders, packing lists, and shipping paperwork.
• Monitor shipment progress and assist in the timely fulfillment of orders.
• Work closely with internal teams to support operational needs.
• Adhere to company policies, standard operating procedures, and safety regulations.
• Participate in audit activities and maintain operational compliance.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives focused on warehouse efficiency and service quality.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by supervisors or management.

Qualifications and Experience

• Holder of NITEC, Higher NITEC, Diploma, or equivalent certification.
• Additional certifications in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Warehousing, or related fields are advantageous.
• At least 2 years of experience in warehouse operations, logistics, inventory management, distribution, fulfillment, or supply chain roles is preferred.
• Familiarity with inventory management platforms, ERP systems, or Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) is beneficial.
• Experience in environments such as manufacturing, distribution, retail fulfillment, or managing high-value inventory is a plus.
• Experience with Third-Party Logistics (3PL) operations is considered an advantage.

Skills and Competencies

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook applications.
• Comfortable operating computer-based inventory and operational administration systems.
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
• Strong organizational and coordination capabilities.
• Effective communication skills and ability to work well within a team.
• Capable of independent work and managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Reliable, responsible, and dedicated to upholding operational standards.
• Preferred skills include coordinating with logistics providers and 3PL vendors, knowledge of ERP, SAP, QAD, WMS, possession of Singapore Class 3 Driving License, and forklift operation or experience.

Location: The Singapore Mint, 20 Teban Gardens Crescent, Singapore 608928
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:30 PM
Job Type: Permanent, Contract & Part-Time positions available
