About the Role
Join a globally recognized Fortune 500 company as a Warehouse Coordinator working the afternoon shift. This key position is responsible for overseeing various logistics operations within the warehouse, including sorting, loading, damage inspection, and internal deliveries. The candidate will support multiple functions such as Dispatch, Delivery Change Requests, COD, and ensure the smooth handling of undeliverable packages and shuttle services.
Primary Responsibilities
- Manage the afternoon cycle of sorting and loading shipments efficiently.
- Conduct inspections on damaged goods, repack when necessary, and coordinate follow-ups; onsite inspections may occasionally be required.
- Coordinate in-building customer pickups and deliveries.
- Oversee night dispatch operations including handling Delivery Change Requests and sorting undeliverable packages.
- Support export shuttle operations to guarantee timely departures without leftover volume.
- Proactively follow up with customers to arrange redelivery of undelivered packages.
- Carry out warehouse scanning duties as required.
- Serve as backup supervisor for the PM Assistance Supervisor during absences.
- Perform ad-hoc tasks including self-lodge and self-collect activities, and provide coverage when onsite staff are unavailable.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- Familiarity with general Singapore dispatch procedures and protocols.
- Proficient computer skills with the ability to quickly adapt to new software and systems.
- Capability to occasionally lift loads up to 20kg; the role is primarily desk-based (50% desk work).
- Strong diligence and a reliable work ethic.
- Excellent customer service abilities with effective communication skills via email and phone, demonstrating a customer-focused approach.
Working Conditions
This is a fully onsite position located in Singapore. Work schedule includes 5.5 days per week, alternating Saturdays. Working hours are from 11:30 AM to 10:00 PM Monday through Friday, and 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM on Saturdays.
