Role Overview

The Waiter/Waitress plays a vital role in delivering excellent guest service by taking orders, serving food and beverages, and ensuring a welcoming dining atmosphere. This position requires direct guest interaction, clear communication with kitchen staff, and adherence to food safety protocols to guarantee an enjoyable customer experience.

Key Duties

• Warmly greet guests, introduce menus, and assist with selections tailored to preferences.
• Precisely record orders and convey them to the kitchen, noting special dietary requests.
• Serve dishes and drinks promptly with attention to presentation and accuracy.
• Oversee a dedicated group of 1 to 6 tables, maintaining consistent and attentive service.
• Conduct frequent table visits to confirm guest satisfaction and address additional needs quickly.
• Follow Front-of-House operational procedures, including compliance with HACCP Intermediate and FM Mandates Basic standards.
• Support food service quality and inventory management through adherence to material control policies.
• Maintain a high standard of guest engagement, ensuring all patrons have a positive dining visit.
• Handle guest questions and resolve complaints professionally to enhance satisfaction.
• Engage guests courteously to meet their requirements promptly and efficiently.

Qualifications & Experience

• High school diploma or an equivalent qualification.
• At least three years of experience in food and beverage service within a customer-facing environment.
• Mandatory HACCP Intermediate certification.
• Proven ability to manage a table section while delivering outstanding guest service.
• Solid understanding of FOH SOPs and food safety regulations.
• Competent in handling multiple tasks under pressure and effective English communication skills; Arabic language skills are a plus.
• Physical ability to stand for prolonged durations; no visual or hearing impairments.
