VTS Operator at Aatash Norcontrol Ltd., Abu Dhabi

About the Role

Aatash Norcontrol Ltd. is urgently hiring Vessel Traffic Service (VTS) Operators for Ruwais and Das Ports, two vital maritime centers in the UAE. This position involves ensuring the safety and efficiency of vessel movements within these ports.

Candidate Profile

There are two possible profiles for applicants:

• Merchant Marine Professionals: Candidates must hold a STCW II/1 Second Officer (Second Mate) Certificate of Competency (COC), have at least 3 years of experience as a Navigating Officer on a merchant marine vessel, possess an IALA Accredited VTS Operator (C0103.1) certificate, and have minimum 1 month of actual VTS experience.
• Ex-Navy Professionals: Former Petty Officers from the Indian Navy with a minimum of 5 years’ experience as a VTS Operator, along with the IALA Accredited VTS Operator (C0103.1) certificate, are also eligible.

Work Schedule and Benefits

• The work rotation consists of 56 days on duty followed by 28 days off.
• Daily work hours are 8 hours per shift.
