VP, Enterprise AI & Technology Strategy

This company supports an extensive network of enterprise partners throughout North America and is making significant investments in artificial intelligence, modern platforms, and scalable technologies to fuel its upcoming growth phase.

This newly refined executive leadership role is crafted to define the integration of AI across internal operations and customer-facing products. Unlike a conventional enterprise architecture role focused solely on governance, or a pure AI strategy position, this role combines shaping a long-term technology roadmap with actionable execution.

The environment is dynamic and evolving due to recent organizational growth and integrations. The ideal leader will excel in structuring processes, influencing multiple business areas, and solving complex challenges in a scaling enterprise.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the comprehensive AI transformation by defining and implementing the enterprise-wide AI strategy.
• Identify and prioritize high-impact AI applications across products, internal operations, and business functions.
• Collaborate with business leaders to redesign processes beyond basic automation.
• Promote enterprise-wide AI adoption via governance frameworks, enablement initiatives, and change management.
• Own the enterprise architecture by developing long-term strategies and technology roadmaps.
• Establish and maintain architecture standards, governance principles, and best practices across applications, data, integrations, cloud platforms, and AI solutions.
• Ensure technology investments align with scalability, security, and future growth requirements.
• Balance innovation with operational stability and regulatory compliance.
• Partner with Product and Engineering teams to develop AI-powered products and capabilities for production deployment.
• Advise on architectural decisions related to modern AI platforms, large language models, intelligent automation, and emerging technologies.
• Develop repeatable frameworks to accelerate ongoing product development.
• Drive enterprise-wide transformation by collaborating with executive leadership to modernize technology platforms and operational models.
• Lead cross-functional initiatives that span Technology, Product, Operations, Marketing, Finance, HR, and other areas.
• Facilitate organizational adoption of AI and technology innovations through communication, education, and practical implementation.
• Oversee technology strategy related to mergers, acquisitions, and enterprise integrations, creating scalable playbooks to support growth.
• Work closely with business leaders to maximize integration value while minimizing operational disruptions.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Over 15 years of progressive leadership experience in technology.
• Proven success in leading enterprise AI or digital transformation initiatives.
• Extensive expertise in enterprise architecture and formulating technology strategies.
• Track record of building and scaling engineering teams or technology departments.
• Experience driving change initiatives across both technical and business organizations.
• Excellent executive-level communication skills with the ability to influence senior leadership.
• A hands-on approach emphasizing execution in addition to strategic planning.

Preferred Experience

• Background with AI-enabled products or platforms deployed in production environments.
• Experience managing mergers and acquisitions technology integration or large-scale integrations.
• Consulting experience, especially in complex, matrixed organizations.
• Knowledge of cloud-native architecture, APIs, enterprise SaaS solutions, and modern integration methodologies.
• Familiarity with Agentic AI, Generative AI, large language models, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), MLOps, or AI orchestration frameworks.
