Job description
Overview
We are seeking a Virtual Musculoskeletal (MSK) Physiotherapist to join our team, primarily working remotely with occasional visits to Bupa Place in Salford Quays or other local centers. This is a permanent, full-time role offering a salary equivalent to £43,000 annually based on a 37.5-hour week with minimum 22.5 hours per week. Shift flexibility includes evening and weekend work within the service hours of 8am to 8pm, Monday through Sunday.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough patient assessments using video and audio consultations, providing accurate diagnoses and self-management recommendations.
- Facilitate appropriate onward referrals to recognized practitioners or services when necessary.
- Manage follow-up for complex or red-flag cases, escalating issues to Clinical Leads as appropriate.
- Assess individual patient needs to offer tailored advice and support.
- Optimize patient care pathways to deliver effective, cost-efficient clinical outcomes.
Qualifications and Experience
- Minimum two years post-qualification experience in the UK.
- Clinical experience comparable to Band 6 or 7 physiotherapist working within an MSK context, with a history of one-on-one clinical delivery.
- Current clinical knowledge and competence maintained actively.
- Relevant Diploma or Degree and registration with HCPC and CSP.
- Strong ability to prioritize workload and respond decisively under pressure.
