About the Role

Deliverance Charities is looking for a creative and meticulous Video Editor to produce captivating video content for their digital channels. This volunteer opportunity is fully remote and aims to support the charity's mission by crafting videos that educate, motivate, and highlight their programs and fundraising initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Create and edit short-form videos for platforms such as Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and TikTok.
• Work on long-form video projects including poems, spoken word pieces, blog-based videos, and educational or inspirational content.
• Integrate captions, transitions, music, graphics, and basic motion effects to enhance video quality.
• Ensure consistent branding is maintained across all video productions.
• Organize and manage video assets efficiently and adhere to deadlines.
• Collaborate closely with the Content Strategy and Digital Marketing teams to align video content with overall communication goals.

Work Environment and Schedule

The team operates in a collaborative and supportive atmosphere, utilizing tools like Google Gmail, Chat, and Space for communication and project management.

• The schedule is flexible and self-managed, with a preference for weekend availability.
• Minimum commitment of 5 hours per week; additional time is welcomed.
• Monthly progress updates are to be communicated via email or chat.
