Vice President Human Resources

Position Overview

A growing manufacturing company based in the Charlotte Metro area is seeking a Vice President of Human Resources to lead their HR strategy and operations across corporate and manufacturing sites. This role reports directly to the Chief Financial Officer and involves comprehensive leadership of talent acquisition, employee relations, compensation and benefits, compliance, leadership development, and workforce planning.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement HR strategies aligned with corporate objectives.
• Provide expert HR advice to executive and operational leadership on workforce and organizational issues.
• Direct recruitment, retention, succession planning, and leadership training initiatives.
• Manage employee relations, conduct investigations, oversee performance management, and ensure compliance.
• Administer compensation, benefits programs, HR policies, and systems.
• Standardize HR processes across multiple manufacturing locations.
• Lead and develop the HR team effectively.
• Utilize workforce analytics to enhance retention, staffing, engagement, and performance.
• Support business acquisitions, integrations, and organizational transformations as required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Over 10 years of progressive HR experience with senior leadership roles.
• Background in manufacturing or industrial environments is essential.
• Experience with multi-site operations and hourly workforce management preferred.
• Strong knowledge of employment law, employee relations, talent management, compensation, and benefits.
• Demonstrated ability to operate strategically and hands-on simultaneously.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and business partnership capabilities.
• Willingness to travel to various company locations as needed.
