Role Summary

We are looking for a skilled and adaptable UX/UI Designer to join our Product & Technology team in Plano, TX. This position entails owning the complete design lifecycle across our digital ecosystem including web platforms, internal apps, and customer interfaces. The ideal candidate will translate complex user and business needs into compelling, intuitive, and brand-consistent digital designs that enhance the experience for crew, charter customers, and operation personnel.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead comprehensive UX processes from initial research through delivery, including user journey mapping, wireframes, and usability tests.
• Create detailed visual mockups and interactive prototypes for web, mobile-responsive, and app interfaces; develop and oversee a scalable design system and component library.
• Engage in front-end development, utilizing HTML, CSS, and JavaScript within frameworks like React or Vue, to develop and enhance UI elements.
• Collaborate closely with product managers and engineers to ensure implementation matches design intent and support quality assurance through design specification reviews.
• Present design concepts and their rationale to diverse teams including leadership and operational stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Extensive expertise with design tools such as Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, and Zeplin or equivalent for design handoff.
• Proficient with prototyping software like Figma Advanced Prototyping, ProtoPie, or Framer.
• Working knowledge of front-end languages HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript; experience with React or Vue frameworks preferred.
• Familiarity with collaboration tools including ClickUp and GitHub.
• Experience with user research platforms such as UserTesting, Maze, or Hotjar.
• Preferred experience includes mobile-first and responsive design for iOS and Android; background in consumer or enterprise software; familiarity with aviation, hospitality, luxury, or digital-first sectors; knowledge of accessibility standards (WCAG 2.1 AA) and inclusive design principles.
• At least five years of UX/UI design experience with a portfolio of web and mobile projects.
• Ability to prototype or contribute to front-end coding.

Work Schedule and Travel

• Standard business hours with occasional requirements for evening or weekend hours.
• Willingness to travel up to 20% as needed.
