About Reveal and the Role

Reveal is on a mission to map the world's underground infrastructure, which includes water, power, and communication lines that are often inaccurately documented. This lack of reliable information leads to costly project delays and safety accidents. To address this, Reveal aims to establish the highest standards for precise, digitally integrated underground mapping in New Zealand.

We are seeking an experienced Utility Locator to join our field team in Auckland. In this position, you will be responsible for accurately identifying and marking underground utilities using advanced tools like Electromagnetic Locators (EML) and Ground Penetrating Radar (GPR). You will play a vital role in enhancing the safety and efficiency of infrastructure projects.

Key Responsibilities and Attributes

• Utilize EML and GPR technology to locate and mark underground utilities accurately.
• Work collaboratively within a cross-disciplinary team including sub-contractors, software engineers, and senior leaders.
• Maintain a strong commitment to health and safety standards at all times.
• Embrace flexibility in working hours, including potential overnight shifts for certain projects.
• Demonstrate a practical mindset, eagerness to learn, and willingness to undertake diverse tasks beyond a traditional job description.

Requirements

• Minimum of one year experience as a Utility Locator or Utility Surveyor proficient with EML and GPR; candidates with a background in traditional field surveying are also encouraged to apply.
• Full New Zealand driver's license.
• Right to work in New Zealand.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment.
