Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced US Tax Specialist to offer expert guidance on US Federal Tax laws and regulations across diverse industries. This role involves extensive research, analysis, and preparation of complex tax returns, including Form 1120 for corporations, partnerships, trusts, and estates. Collaboration with various teams is essential to uncover tax-saving opportunities through strategic consultancy. Staying informed on updates to US tax policies and regulations is a critical part of ensuring client compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver expert advice on US Federal Taxation to clients in multiple sectors.
- Prepare and analyze complex tax returns such as Form 1120 for diverse entities including corporations and trusts.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to identify and implement tax planning strategies that maximize client benefits.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of changes in tax laws, policies, and regulations affecting compliance and planning.
Requirements
- CPA certification or equivalent experience related to US Federal Taxation.
- Between 10 to 15 years of relevant professional experience in accounting firms or corporate environments.
- In-depth familiarity with IRS regulations applicable to corporate tax filings, including passive activity loss limitations and capitalization rules.
