Recycling Partners of Jamaica (RPJ) plays an essential role in promoting sustainability across the island by managing and transporting recycled plastics. We are seeking dependable and skilled Truck Drivers in Mandeville, Manchester, to join our operations team and facilitate the movement of recovered recyclables with safety, timeliness, and pride.

Key Responsibilities

• Transport loose plastic bottles and baled materials between various locations throughout Jamaica.
• Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and handle routine maintenance tasks.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records for mileage, fuel consumption, and load documentation.
• Adhere strictly to Government of Jamaica road safety regulations and RPJ’s own safety protocols, practicing defensive driving at all times.
• Communicate promptly about route conditions or any delivery delays to supervisors.

Candidate Requirements

• Possess a valid Jamaican General Driver’s Licence with at least five years of commercial driving experience.
• Minimum of three years of experience in logistics or heavy-duty truck driving roles.
• Basic knowledge of mechanical systems and preventive vehicle maintenance.
• Demonstrate professionalism, punctuality, and a strong safety focus.
• Effective communication skills coupled with meticulous record-keeping abilities.

Preferred Qualifications

• Certification in Defensive Driving and/or Fleet Safety is an advantage.
• Familiarity with digital job tracking platforms such as cieTrade is beneficial.
