Role Overview
As a Treasury Analyst at NEXTDC, you will play a pivotal role in supporting treasury functions including reporting, banking operations, debt management, and investor relations. This position encompasses monitoring cash flow and liquidity, managing banking transactions and debt facilities, preparing treasury committee reports, and contributing to debt and equity financing activities. You will regularly interface with lenders, investors, and banking partners, and be responsible for board and management level treasury communications. The role offers the chance to develop expertise in financial modelling and process automation within a dynamic, expanding company.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor daily cash balances and assess weekly and monthly funding requirements.
- Manage transactional banking activities, bank guarantees, and maintain strong relationships with banking institutions.
- Oversee debt facility usage, including drawdowns, repayments, and ensuring compliance with related documentation.
- Organize Treasury Committee meetings and prepare weekly and monthly treasury reports.
- Conduct external treasury reporting and coordinate quarterly compliance procedures.
- Develop and maintain cash flow models and perform financial analyses to support liquidity forecasting and strategic planning.
Qualifications and Experience
- Minimum of two years' professional experience in treasury, accounting, or banking, with emphasis on cash management.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, banking operations, and treasury fundamentals.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and solid skills in PowerPoint and Word.
- Exceptional attention to detail combined with the ability to manage competing priorities effectively.
- Eagerness to expand skills in tools such as Power Query, Power Automate, and artificial intelligence applications.
- Excellent communication skills, capable of engaging effectively with investors and internal teams.
