About the Role

Join our vibrant Perth team as a Transport Planner, contributing to impactful projects throughout Western Australia. This position involves tackling complex challenges, introducing innovative solutions, analyzing data, preparing detailed reports, and maintaining strong client relationships.

You will operate primarily within the Perth transport planning group, collaborating both locally and nationally with leading traffic and transport professionals. The role encourages multidisciplinary coordination involving engineering, design, and analytical teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct transport planning and traffic engineering studies, encompassing impact assessments and traffic modelling.
  • Manage and support projects related to land development, infrastructure, and urban precincts.
  • Produce high-standard technical reports, proposals, and deliverables for clients.
  • Engage with clients, local government authorities, and diverse project teams.
  • Guide and mentor junior team members to foster their professional growth.

Candidate Profile

  • Possess a relevant tertiary qualification in Civil Engineering, Transport Planning, or a related discipline.
  • Have at least five years of transport planning experience within a consulting environment.
  • Familiarity with traffic modelling and analytical tools such as SIDRA, VISSIM, or VISUM is a distinct advantage.
  • Exhibit excellent communication abilities, both written and verbal.
  • Demonstrate capability in managing projects and nurturing client relationships effectively.
