About the Role
Join DHL Supply Chain, a global leader in logistics, as a Transport Operative based in Scunthorpe. This full-time permanent position offers a salary of £28,619.54 per year and involves supporting the transport management team to ensure seamless daily operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist management and colleagues to maintain smooth daily transport functions.
- Accurately check and process driver documentation such as tachographs, proof of delivery, and operational documents.
- Ensure compliance with driver working hours, legal regulations, and site health and safety protocols.
- Maintain high levels of accuracy, safety standards, and cleanliness within the transport office and yard area.
- Report operational issues to management and support additional tasks to keep processes efficient.
Who Should Apply
- Candidates with prior transport experience are preferred but this is not mandatory.
- Proficiency with IT tools including Microsoft Office (Excel and Word); experience with Microlise software is an advantage though not required.
- Strong organizational skills with capability to work independently and also collaboratively within a team.
- Excellent communication abilities are essential.
