About Foodstuffs North Island
We operate over 300 stores including New World, PAK’nSAVE and Four Square, serving communities with more than 24,000 team members across the North Island. Our extensive supply chain moves nearly 97.8 million cartons annually over 19 million kilometres, ensuring customers receive their groceries both in-store and online.
Role Overview
This position, based in Lower Hutt, Wellington, is integral to our Transport team. You will collaborate closely with internal departments and freight customers to maintain precise customer freight rating models, billing information, and master data across various systems. Your efforts will ensure the accurate financial representation of freight movements, emphasizing billing precision and data integrity.
Main Responsibilities
- Update and maintain customer freight rates and master data within transport systems.
- Carry out billing verifications, freight rating validations, and manage invoice-related tasks.
- Address customer inquiries and troubleshoot issues related to billing, shipment, and rates.
- Support the yearly freight rate review process, ensuring all data is accurate and reliable.
- Generate detailed reports and recommend improvements for processes and operational efficiency.

Essential Qualifications and Skills
- Strong attention to detail combined with high numerical accuracy.
- Experience processing invoices, billing activities, or managing complex datasets.
- Intermediate to advanced proficiency with Excel, including Pivot Tables, lookups, and data analytics.
- Ability to work collaboratively, organize effectively, and balance multiple priorities.
- A mindset geared towards continuous improvement and identifying enhancements to processes, reporting, and data integrity.
