About the Role

Join Asda House as a full-time Trader, where you'll collaborate closely with key suppliers and internal teams to drive sales, pricing, and growth surpassing market standards while managing category profit and loss. You will be responsible for negotiating and executing business plans, understanding customer needs, and developing strategies that align with market demands. Additionally, you will track key commodities, negotiate cost-to-serve agreements with suppliers, and ensure outstanding value delivery to customers.

Candidate Profile

• Substantial experience in a similar trading role.
• Strong insight into customer preferences, market trends, and competitor offerings.
• Capability to recognize strategic growth opportunities and propose innovative products.
• Excellent negotiation and influencing skills across a diverse supplier base.

Working Environment and Benefits

Asda offers a hybrid working model that includes a minimum of three days weekly at one of the Home Offices, with additional days potentially required for supplier, store, or depot visits depending on operational needs.
