About the Role
This full-time position based in Hendra, Queensland, involves supporting sales, customer service, and warehouse operations at the Gyprock Trade Centre. Reporting to the Store Manager, the role requires delivering outstanding service to walk-in customers, handling orders, invoices, and payments, and maintaining store displays and merchandising standards. Some warehouse activities may require forklift operation, for which holding a forklift license is preferable.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver excellent customer service across in-person, email, and phone interactions.
- Assist with daily store and warehouse functions as needed.
- Process customer orders, manage invoicing, and execute payments accurately.
- Ensure retail displays and merchandising meet high standards.
- Operate warehouse equipment, with forklift license advantageous.
Working Hours and Compensation
Your typical working week will be Monday to Friday, from 5:30 am to 2:30 pm, totaling 38 hours. Any additional hours, including on Saturdays, will be compensated at overtime rates. The position also offers competitive pay, superannuation benefits, and CSR employee perks.
