Role Summary
We are seeking a full-time Testing & Commissioning Engineer based in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, to support seamless integration and validation of transport systems. This role requires working closely with various project teams to plan, execute, and report on site tests to assure operational success of railway subsystems.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop test procedures and coordinate system integration testing on site.
- Conduct and manage execution of site tests, producing detailed, accurate test reports.
- Monitor system performance and follow up on troubleshooting and corrective actions during the testing and commissioning phases.
- Document system configurations across different test stages.
- Implement and optimize testing and commissioning processes, methods, and tools.
Qualifications and Skills
- Engineering degree from a recognized institution is mandatory.
- Electrical and mechanical diploma or degree is preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years experience in railway testing and commissioning.
- Comprehensive knowledge of railway subsystems and products related to testing and commissioning activities.
- Ability to interpret schematics and perform fault diagnosis.
- Proficient in using test instruments and assessing system performance.
- Strong teamwork, effective communication and active listening skills.
- Leadership qualities with resilience and the ability to handle stress.
- Understanding of relevant standards, operational requirements, and environment conditions.
- Customer-oriented approach.
- Proficiency in English at a professional level and willingness to be mobile.
- Highly organized, rigorous, adaptable, and able to work under pressure.
