Role Overview

The Test Administrator, based in Kathmandu, is a crucial full-time, on-site role responsible for conducting test sessions in a secure and standardized environment. The administrator arranges testing facilities, verifies candidate identities, outlines testing procedures, and enforces compliance with security protocols. Duties also include vigilant oversight during exams, handling candidate inquiries within limitations, and ensuring thorough documentation of any incidents or discrepancies according to company policies. Professionalism, meticulous documentation, and a service-oriented approach are essential.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and set up test environments, including arranging materials and equipment.
  • Check identification and admissions of candidates, adhering to verification processes.
  • Deliver clear instructions and answer permissible candidate queries before, during, and after assessments.
  • Closely monitor candidates to prevent misconduct or policy violations throughout examinations.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and records, reporting any incidents or anomalies as per official procedures.
  • Work cooperatively with team members to coordinate schedules and ensure operational efficiency.
  • Support candidates with professionalism and courtesy, creating a calm, compliant testing atmosphere.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated proctoring skills with a focus on test security and vigilance.
  • Strong verbal and written communication abilities, including clear explanation of procedures.
  • Experience in customer service, with a courteous and supportive attitude.
  • Basic understanding of HR practices relating to confidentiality and process adherence.
  • Keen attention to detail and capacity to reliably follow standardized procedures and documentation.
  • Composure and multitasking abilities, especially during high-volume testing sessions.
  • Computer literacy; familiarity with test administration software is advantageous.
  • Experience in educational services, administration, or prior involvement in a testing environment preferred.
  • Minimum qualification of a high school diploma; higher education is an asset.
  • Willingness to work full-time, with flexibility for occasional weekends or longer hours.
