Role Overview

The Technology Platforms Director is accountable for leading the strategic direction and operational excellence of all technology platforms across the organization. This leadership position ensures that the IT infrastructure, cloud services, and enterprise applications are reliable, secure, and scalable, aligning closely with business goals and digital transformation efforts.

Key Responsibilities

• Shape and execute strategies for technology platforms that support organizational objectives and digital initiatives.
• Direct governance frameworks, design architecture, and oversee the lifecycle of IT platforms, cloud environments, and enterprise software.
• Supervise ongoing improvement and maintenance efforts across IT infrastructure, cloud services, and enterprise platforms, guaranteeing alignment with business and operational targets.
• Administer and integrate enterprise application systems, including ERP, OSS, BSS, and internal business solutions, to achieve seamless, high-performing operations.
• Ensure technology platforms are dependable, efficient, resilient, and secure through robust monitoring and planning processes.
• Set forth and uphold technical standards, policies, and procedures to maintain operational consistency, compliance, and high service quality.
• Manage day-to-day cloud operations, advancing efficient cloud adoption, deployment procedures, resource management, and compliance with governance guidelines.
• Oversee integration initiatives to ensure interoperability both within the enterprise and with external partner or customer systems.
• Deliver and continuously refine platform services to address the evolving technological and business landscape.
• Cultivate productive partnerships with technology vendors, cloud service providers, and system integrators to maximize service quality and contractual value.
• Champion the exploration and implementation of new technological advancements and emerging platforms to boost organizational performance and capabilities.
• Track platform Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), enforce service level agreements (SLAs), and analyze operational metrics to initiate necessary adjustments and improvements.
• Lead, mentor, and empower the Technology Platforms team, nurturing a workplace culture focused on innovation, accountability, teamwork, and ongoing development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Technology or other related domains.

Experience

• At least seven years of experience in relevant technological fields or positions of similar responsibility.
