Role Overview

The Technician in Production Operations (G3) on the night shift will be responsible for managing and operating automatic and semi-automatic machinery within a continuous manufacturing setting. Reporting to the Production Operations Supervisor, this role is based on-site near Tulla, County Clare.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate and upkeep production equipment post-training completion.
  • Perform cleaning procedures to maintain machinery and equipment hygiene.
  • Conduct filling, labeling, packaging, and inspection of finished products aligned with training protocols.
  • Ensure all tasks adhere strictly to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Quality System Regulations.
  • Adapt to changes in processes, machine layouts, production techniques, and handle new equipment or procedures.
  • Maintain precise records, logs, and relevant documentation.

Requirements

  • Minimum educational qualification: Leaving Certificate.
  • Capability to stand throughout work shifts, with accommodations when necessary.
  • Competence in operating both manual and automated machinery.
  • Comfort working in various manufacturing environments, including cleanrooms and around moving equipment, using appropriate personal protective equipment.
  • Ability to read and comprehend Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), batch records, and product specifications.
  • Excellent visual acuity for component inspection and defect identification.
  • Previous manufacturing experience is desirable but not mandatory.

Working Hours

  • Night shift schedule: Monday to Thursday from midnight to 8:00 AM.
  • Friday shift from 10:00 PM to 5:00 AM.
