Role Overview
We seek a Technical Writer to become part of our Operational Enablement team. The successful candidate will develop clear, engaging, and user-focused documentation that supports our customers in adopting and maximizing the value of our products.
Key Responsibilities
- Produce, author, and design product enablement materials using both traditional methods and AI-enhanced workflows, including help articles, user manuals, release announcements, FAQs, knowledge base entries, and instructional content.
- Convert complex technical concepts into clear, concise, and accessible language suitable for both technical and non-technical users.
- Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Support, and Training teams to acquire product insights and ensure documentation accuracy and currency.
- Develop content that prioritizes readability, accessibility, consistency, and enhances user experience through thoughtful structure and design.
- Continuously update and refine existing documentation to incorporate feature updates, product enhancements, and feedback from customers.
- Create and maintain templates, style guides, quality standards, prompt frameworks, and governance procedures related to AI content generation.
- Manage multiple documentation projects to align deliverables with product release timelines.
- Work with subject matter experts and stakeholders to review and improve documentation products.
- Identify opportunities to enhance documentation processes through AI tools, automation, and workflow improvements.
- Analyze customer feedback, support trends, and product modifications to address knowledge gaps and improve content quality.
- Utilize Microsoft Copilot and other authorized AI applications to speed up content development, ensuring all outputs undergo careful editorial and factual review.
- Stay current with emerging technologies and best practices to advance knowledge sharing and customer enablement.
Candidate Profile
- Bachelor's degree in English, Communications, Technical Writing, Journalism, or related disciplines, or equivalent professional experience.
- Minimum of two years’ experience in technical writing, product documentation, content development, or similar roles.
- Background in generating documentation or enablement materials for software or SaaS products.
- Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills with meticulous attention to detail.
- Skill in distilling complex technical data into straightforward, reader-friendly language.
- Experience creating well-structured, visually appealing documentation.
- Knowledge of content authoring tools and platforms such as MadCap Flare, Zendesk, or Confluence is advantageous.
- Proficiency in Microsoft 365 suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and Microsoft Copilot.
- Excellent organisational capability to juggle multiple priorities and deadlines effectively.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, able to collaborate across diverse teams.
- Self-driven, adaptable, and comfortable operating within a fast-paced, cooperative work setting.
- Previous experience in SaaS or technology sectors is preferred.
- Genuine interest in AI technologies and eagerness to use innovation to enhance content quality and delivery.
