About Seed U and the Vision

Seed U is pioneering the build of India's foundational Linguistic Operating System aimed at uniting the country’s diverse regional languages with cutting-edge AI technology. The current AI landscape heavily favors English, sidelining over 90% of India’s population who communicate primarily in local mother tongues. Furthermore, the majority of vernacular data remains unindexed within common AI models.

Our innovative solution involves developing a Native Thinking Engine that natively understands, processes, and reasons in languages such as Odia, Hindi, and other Indian regional languages, bypassing traditional English-vernacular translation layers.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement a robust RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) infrastructure engineered to minimize hallucinated outputs, ensuring delivery of precise, error-free intelligence to students, administrative entities, and citizens.
• Create secure, end-to-end data pipelines for certified vernacular curricula (classes 1 to 10), regional educational repositories, and trusted local media outlets.
• Develop scalable, high-availability platform architectures capable of evolving from early prototypes to supporting 22 official languages and millions of users.
• Lead product execution for both government/public sector (B2G) with highly secure public administration platforms for government bodies and grassroots networks, and enterprise/business (B2B) domains involving subscription management, access control, and scalable API solutions for MSMEs, startups, and digital commerce.
• Collaborate strategically with leadership to establish the long-term technical roadmap, choose core technology stacks, and foster a strong developer community.

Ideal Candidate Profile

• Extensive hands-on expertise in full-stack software development, working with contemporary AI/ML frameworks, advanced RAG system implementations, and building production-grade platforms from ground up.
• Strong agility typical of startup environments, able to operate effectively under uncertainty with a bias toward fast, iterative development cycles.
• Deep commitment to linguistic inclusivity and empowering non-English-speaking populations across India digitally.
