Position Overview

Schonfeld seeks a highly skilled Recruiter to join their Talent Acquisition team located in New York, NY. This full-time onsite position demands managing end-to-end recruitment processes while ensuring an outstanding candidate journey. The role particularly focuses on sourcing candidates within front office sectors including Quantitative Analysts, Strategists, Risk management specialists, and Technology professionals.

Primary Responsibilities

• Collaborate closely with multiple internal teams to implement and execute the company's talent acquisition strategy.
• Manage the full recruitment lifecycle from initial candidate sourcing to placement, acting as a trusted advisor throughout.
• Develop and expand recruiting networks to attract high-caliber talent.
• Maintain ongoing communication with candidates, ensuring a positive and engaging experience.
• Provide regular updates on search progress and evolving recruitment needs to stakeholders.
• Understand and promote the company’s business, culture, brand values, and motto, "Talent is our strategy."

Candidate Qualifications

• Minimum of five years in lateral recruiting within financial services, with exposure to both in-house and agency environments preferred.
• Proven experience recruiting for Quantitative and Strategist roles, with solid grasp of relevant terminology, programming languages, and business insight within the quant domain.
• Strong relationship-building skills with internal teams and external search firms.
• Flexible to support recruitment beyond Quant roles when required.
• Ability to excel in a swift, demanding workplace with excellent organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
• Effective communication skills, including written, verbal, and non-verbal communication.
• Preferred: Experience recruiting across international markets such as Latin America and EMEA.

Compensation

The anticipated base salary for this role ranges from 120000 to 150000 USD annually. In addition, candidates may be eligible for bonuses and a competitive benefits package. Actual salary will be influenced by skills, qualifications, and relevant experience.
