System Administrator

Overview

Adam&EveInc is seeking a skilled System Administrator to support IT operations within a dynamic BPO environment based in Coimbatore. This role involves managing and maintaining IT infrastructure for over 150 employees and offers opportunities for professional growth in a fast-paced setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee system installations, configurations, and ongoing maintenance to ensure optimal performance.
• Manage server operations and network infrastructure to maintain smooth business processes.
• Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and connectivity issues promptly.
• Provide IT support both remotely and on-site to assist employees as needed.

Required Skills and Expertise

• Proficiency in installing, configuring, and troubleshooting Windows 10 and 11 operating systems.
• Basic knowledge of Linux administration, specifically Ubuntu.
• Experience supporting desktop and server hardware components.
• Ability to perform OS installations, updates, and routine maintenance tasks.
• Familiarity with networking concepts including TCP/IP, LAN, WAN, VLAN, and VPN configurations.
• Understanding of communication protocols such as SIP and RTP.
• Basic knowledge of routing, switching, firewall configurations, and maintaining network security.
• Skills in wireless network setup and troubleshooting.
• Competence in performing backup and restore operations to safeguard data integrity.
• Usage of remote access and management tools like Remote Desktop Protocol (RDP) and Secure Shell (SSH).
• A strong analytical mindset focused on problem-solving in IT environments.
