Key Responsibilities

• Carry out initial condition surveys of private properties prior to construction to record existing states.
• Conduct pre-construction surveys of public infrastructure such as roads and footpaths to assess their conditions.
• Survey sites before reinstatement works to confirm surface conditions, materials, and footprint specifications for reinstatement accuracy.
• Perform post-reinstatement inspections to validate completed works, supporting payment claims and ensuring compliance for Road Opening License (ROL) closures.
• Research and document historical sites lacking photographic or measurement data to aid closure of past ROLs.
• Inspect and report on defects from ROL refusals, helping resolve outstanding issues efficiently.
• Maintain thorough records including photographic and written reports to support project management and regulatory adherence.
• Follow health, safety, and environmental regulations meticulously throughout surveying activities.

Candidate Requirements

• Valid full clean driving license is mandatory.
• Previous experience working as a surveyor within utilities, civil engineering, or related sectors.
• Strong attention to detail with a proven ability to document findings precisely.
• Excellent organization and time management capabilities.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively within teams.
