Key Responsibilities
- Manage and resolve support tickets related to Microsoft Active Directory (both Azure and on-premises), Microsoft 365, Exchange, and other cloud services.
- Provide expert troubleshooting for desktops, servers, firewalls, and network infrastructure (LAN/WAN).
- Support cloud platforms including Azure AD, Entra, Hyper-V, Citrix, and AWS (VMware is not included).
- Participate in project deployments and handle escalated technical challenges.
- Balance time between desk-based support tasks and onsite client visits, with travel costs covered by the company.
- Collaborate with senior engineering staff to maintain streamlined and efficient IT environments.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- Extensive practical knowledge of Active Directory, particularly Azure AD, along with traditional on-premises setups.
- Strong experience with Windows Server, Microsoft Exchange, and cloud infrastructure platforms.
- Competent handling of a broad technical stack from end-user devices to firewalls and network systems.
- Proficiency in using ticketing systems and excellent customer service skills to effectively communicate and resolve issues.
- Possess a valid New Zealand driver’s license or authorization to drive in New Zealand, along with access to a personal vehicle for onsite responsibilities.
- Positive attitude, great communication skills, and a passion for problem-solving.
