Support Engineer (Remote)

Position Summary

We are seeking a Support Engineer to join our client's team on a contract basis, working remotely from any location. The primary function involves diagnosing and resolving technical issues encountered by users on a cloud-based platform, with interactions primarily conducted through chat and email. The goal is to ensure prompt resolution and maintain excellent customer satisfaction.

Key Duties

• Troubleshoot and resolve user-reported technical problems via chat and email effectively and promptly.
• Create and maintain documentation on solutions for frequently encountered issues, updating internal and external knowledge bases.
• Work closely with engineering teams to escalate complex problems and oversee their resolution.
• Offer users clear, concise instructions and recommendations regarding platform functionality and optimal usage.
• Monitor platform-related queries in real time to reduce downtime experienced by users.

Required Skills and Experience

• Previous experience supporting SaaS or cloud-based environments.
• Proficiency using ticketing and CRM tools for tracking and managing technical requests.
• Excellent written and spoken English communication abilities.
• Competence in troubleshooting across various operating systems and platforms.
• Familiarity with debugging techniques and analyzing logs is desirable.
