Role Overview
This opportunity is offered on behalf of a partner organization seeking a Supply Chain Systems Analyst based in the United States. The role focuses on designing and enhancing digital infrastructure supporting advanced manufacturing, logistics, and supply chain processes. Acting as a pivotal link between physical production operations and enterprise technology systems, you will develop and implement solutions spanning ERP, MRP, WMS, TMS, and data platforms to increase operational efficiency and scalability.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and deploy supply chain system solutions across ERP, MRP, WMS, TMS, and data visualization platforms to address operational demands.
- Lead comprehensive systems projects from gathering requirements and design through testing, deployment, and adoption in production environments.
- Oversee internal and external development projects delivering technology solutions aligned with business goals.
- Serve as an intermediary between supply chain units and technical teams by interpreting operational challenges into effective system designs.
- Develop thorough business requirements and technical specification documents to guide development teams clearly.
- Design and maintain data exchange integrations including API and EDI connections linking internal systems with external partners.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with manufacturing, logistics, inventory, procurement, finance, and IT teams to enhance supply chain workflows.
- Identify and drive process improvements, automation opportunities, and enhanced data transparency throughout operations.
Candidate Requirements
- A minimum of eight years’ direct experience in designing, implementing, and optimizing supply chain systems.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent hands-on experience.
- In-depth knowledge of ERP systems, especially SAP, with exposure to planning and operational implementations in global enterprises.
- Practical experience working with SAP S/4HANA and tailoring configurations to meet business needs.
- Track record of implementing and integrating supply chain technologies including ERP, MRP, WMS, and TMS applications.
- Comprehensive understanding of materials management, logistics, inventory control, procurement, and financial principles.
- Proven leadership of IT-driven projects within supply chain functions.
- Capability to translate complex operational requirements into functional technical solutions.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management capabilities.
- Ability to thrive in fast-paced, ambiguous, and evolving environments while collaborating with global teams.
