In 2022, Wolt merged with DoorDash and continues to grow globally. Our Wolt Market grocery concept offers quick doorstep delivery of everyday essentials and is rapidly expanding in Germany.
Role Overview
As a Supply Chain Analyst based in Berlin, you will be crucial to ensuring that Wolt Market stores in Germany remain well-stocked and efficient. Your role involves analyzing inventory and demand, preempting potential supply issues, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to optimize stock availability and minimize waste.
Key Responsibilities
- Track and evaluate inventory levels, stock availability, and replenishment at Wolt Market's dark stores in Germany, identifying risks early.
- Develop and sustain demand forecasting models to support ordering strategies, working closely with store operations and category managers to balance product availability and waste reduction.
- Detect and resolve supply chain challenges such as supplier delays or warehouse constraints and initiate improvements to enhance processes.
- Create comprehensive reports and dashboards that highlight critical supply chain metrics including stock-outs, waste levels, and delivery punctuality, sharing insights with relevant stakeholders.
Candidate Profile
- Between 1 to 3 years of experience in roles related to supply chain, logistics, retail operations, or other analytical positions, preferably in grocery, e-commerce, or quick commerce sectors.
- Proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets for data management and analysis.
- A methodical, data-centered problem-solving mindset capable of translating numerical data into actionable insights.
- Fluency in both English and German, spoken and written, to communicate effectively with local teams, suppliers, and store staff throughout Germany.
- Preferred but not required: Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) or Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) platforms, demand forecasting software, or background in FMCG/grocery supply chains.
- Familiarity with SQL or similar tools for querying and analyzing data is advantageous.
- Comfortable leveraging AI tools to enhance efficiency, automate routine tasks, and maximize daily productivity.
What We Provide
- An opportunity to take significant responsibility impacting thousands of customers' daily experiences in Germany.
- Collaboration with intelligent, supportive colleagues within Wolt and the broader DoorDash organization.
- Ample growth prospects as Wolt Market expands its footprint in Germany.
- Competitive compensation package.
- Employee discounts on Wolt orders.
- A flexible, trusting environment that retains a dynamic startup culture feel.
