Role Overview
This part-time, remote position involves managing supply chain and logistics functions by overseeing inventory levels, analyzing demand trends, and aiding in demand planning to ensure stock adequacy and timely deliveries.
Key Responsibilities
The role demands coordination between internal departments and external partners to facilitate seamless supply chain operations. Responsibilities include tracking shipments, resolving logistics challenges, compiling reports and dashboards, suggesting process enhancements, and supporting data-driven strategies to improve efficiency and reliability across the supply chain.
Qualifications and Skills
- Expertise in demand planning and inventory management to forecast requirements and maintain optimal stock.
- Strong analytical ability to interpret data, generate reports, and assist in evidence-based decision-making.
- Effective communication skills for collaboration with diverse teams and external stakeholders.
- Understanding of supply chain workflows, logistics, and coordination processes.
- Experience or knowledge of ERP systems or inventory management software is advantageous.
- A bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, operations, engineering, business, or related discipline is preferred, but relevant equivalent experience is acceptable.
- Capability to operate independently in a remote setup, juggle various tasks, and pay close attention to detail.
