Role Overview
This casual student surveyor position within the Engineering and Project Delivery team at City of Ryde offers the chance to work alongside seasoned professionals on a variety of projects, both large and small, that benefit the local community.

Key Responsibilities
- Conduct a variety of surveying tasks such as detail, set-out, and boundary surveys.
- Deliver precise survey data, calculations, maps, and technical documentation.
- Use state-of-the-art surveying instruments and CAD software like AutoCAD/Civil 3D.
- Support engineering and project teams by providing technical and statutory guidance.
- Prepare professional reports and plans based on survey results.
- Maintain effective collaboration with internal stakeholders.
- Ensure project tasks are completed accurately and meet deadlines.
Candidate Profile
- Currently pursuing a degree in Surveying or a related field.
- Hold a valid driver's license.
- Possess a current Work Health & Safety Construction Induction Certificate (White Card).
- Demonstrate familiarity with contemporary surveying technologies including total stations, GPS, and relevant software.
- Exhibit strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to interpret data and resolve challenges effectively.
