This team will blend diverse voices committed to crafting outstanding narratives for our upcoming projects spanning many years.

Role Overview

As the Storytelling Director, you will serve as the creative gatekeeper, approving only the strongest pitches, outlines, and story concepts. Your expertise in identifying, shaping, and uplifting engaging narratives presents a unique chance to establish the creative foundation in our future ventures.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the ultimate creative authority for story approval and development within the team.
• Guide and mentor a dedicated storytelling team, providing strong leadership and oversight of creative skills.
• Assess, refine, and sanction narrative proposals, character arcs, settings, and plotlines.
• Ensure the consistent narrative excellence across different projects, genres, and formats.
• Promote a cohesive narrative culture throughout the department.

Candidate Requirements

• Minimum of 10 years experience in story development, narrative leadership, or creative direction roles such as Showrunner, Narrative Director, or Editor-in-Chief.
• Proven history of creating and developing award-winning stories.
• Strong passion and comprehensive understanding of compelling narratives spanning multiple genres.
• Demonstrated ability to complete scripts successfully through detailed feedback and active editing involvement.
• Portfolio showcasing outstanding character creation with memorable ensembles and meaningful character journeys.
• Excellent communicator capable of inspiring enthusiasm, confidence, and collective ownership of narratives.
