Store Supervisor

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee store operations from start to finish including staff management, scheduling, order placing, inventory receiving, stocking, order picking, packing, and controlling expenses within operational guidelines.
• Coordinate and supervise daily store activities such as hiring team members, managing shift schedules, and ensuring routine and preventive maintenance are carried out.
• Optimize the efficiency of pickers by assigning multitasking roles to improve unit throughput rates (UTRs).
• Manage stock orders and replenishment to maintain appropriate inventory levels by evaluating both demand forecasts and physical stock.
• Implement effective inventory management practices to maintain accurate stock records and adequate supplies.
• Ensure incoming shipments are received accurately in line with company policies and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
• Supervise outbound operations ensuring timely and precise picking and packing of customer orders adhering to SOPs.
• Continuously evaluate fulfillment processes and suggest improvements to boost productivity and profitability.
• Lead the assigned store to achieve profitability targets, deliver excellent service, and foster employee development.
• Manage store staff efficiently to meet resource utilization and service level objectives.
• Monitor and control store expenses relative to budget to maximize operational cost-effectiveness.
• Implement measures to reduce store-related shrinkages.
• Ensure proper usage and maintenance of store equipment and infrastructure at all times.
• Guarantee adherence to hygiene, sanitation, security, safety, and service standards within the store to maintain high levels of internal and external customer satisfaction.
• Collaborate with the Operations Manager to address and resolve store-related issues.
• Supervise both internal maintenance tasks and third-party service providers to ensure operational efficiency.
• Ensure safe and appropriate handling of material handling equipment.

Qualifications and Skills

• Pursuit of 5 to 7 years of experience in supermarket or restaurant management roles.
• Keen enthusiasm for handling new challenges and eagerness to continuously learn on the job.
• Strong communication abilities accompanied by a hands-on approach with various tools.
• Excellent interpersonal and intercultural communication skills.
• Fluency in English is required; proficiency in Arabic is highly beneficial.
