Position Overview
The Store Front Associate proactively directs customers to open checkout lanes and assists them at self-checkout stations. This role involves processing transactions accurately and swiftly by applying our "ACTion at Every Transaction" checkout process.
Main Responsibilities
- Ensure customer satisfaction by greeting and engaging customers, creating a connection, and completing transactions with gratitude using the ACTion customer service model.
- Demonstrate solid knowledge of products and services, making appropriate recommendations to meet customer needs.
- Interact sincerely and appreciatively with all customers and associates; minimize checkout wait times and acknowledge customers in line.
- Promote and suggest available services such as credit options, extended warranties, rentals, and Pro Services.
- Maintain safety and integrity by adhering to all security and loss prevention policies.
- Follow Store Front processes intended to minimize losses and protect assets.

Work Conditions and Physical Requirements
- Work schedule is variable and may include evenings and weekends.
- The warehouse environment may be dusty and noisy.

- Physical activities include bending, stooping, stretching, turning, lifting, pushing, pulling, and moving items.
Education and Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent is required.
- One to two years of retail or cashier experience is considered an asset.
Compensation
The salary for this position ranges from $18.90 to $19.90 per hour.
